Welcome
back players, coaches, families, friends and dedicated followers
of your 2007-2008 Springfield Junior Pics. A few weeks
back on August 25, 2007 we had our Junior Pics golf tournament
held at Chicopee Country Club with a dinner at the Cottage
Hill Club. The weather was sunny and a tad bit on the warm
side. But all in all it was a very good time.
I'd like to take a moment to thank some very special people
who have stepped up to the plate every year to make this a successful
day. 
First,
are our wonderful lady volunteers who ran our registration
table and went to the hall and set up our raffle - Sue
Olson, Andrea Pageau, Mary
Ellen Flemati and Darlene
Wajda. Without
these ladies we would have had a very difficult day ahead
of us.
Thank
you ladies!
Second,
all our golfers who attended and gave us a very good showing
once again.
Third,
to all our sponsors and donors from hole sponsors to door
prizes; it makes the tournament all fall in place and to
all the teams who worked to help get prizes for our door
prize table, thank you.
In
closing, thank you to everyone involved and if I missed
anyone my apology. With out all involved this tournament
would not be a continuing success, thanks again and have
a safe and prosperous season. And to our teams of young
men and ladies, good luck this season.
